Another bravura for India!
An elation moment was escalated between people with the triumphant launch of CARTOSAT  3 on 27 November,2019 at 03:58 pm from the second launch pad of Satish Dhawan Space Center (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota (Andhra Pradesh). It was carried by PSLV-C47 with the other commercial nano-satellites for US.

Amidst the 310 satellites instigated by India there are a series of CARTOSAT ,  series of Indian earth observation satellite  built and operated by the Indian Space Research Organization  (ISRO) and amid the series of CARTOSAT  is the CARTOSAT 3.
CARTOSAT 3 is a 1625 kg third generation satellite having high resolution imaging capability. It was launched in order to obtain panchromatic and multispectral imagery with an operational life of 5 years. Also, to address the proliferate demand for large scale urban planning, use of coastal lands, rural resource and infrastructure development and land cover. Terminating Earth’s resource management, is its defense service and monitoring.

Interposing on the successful launch, ISRO chief K Sivan stated,” I am happy that PSLV –C47 revolved pricelessly in the orbit with 13 other satellites. CARTOSAT -3 resolution civilian satellite; we have 13 missions up to March – 6 large vehicle missions and 7 satellite missions “. Which gives us a rough idea that there is a lot more to achieve.
